Because we all need a soft place to land

The focus of family therapy is to make changes in the interactions and communication patterns between family members.  This helps heal relationships that have suffered from problematic patterns, and further strengthens family bonds.  We use an approach where everyone's emotions, perspectives, and needs are understood and validated.  This creates a safe space where relationship patterns are recognised and all members are encouraged to explore how they can contribute to, and benefit from, healthier interactions.  When the focus is on emotions and strengthening relationships, challenging behaviours diminish.  The client is the family as a unit, rather than any individual member.

Families of all forms and composition are welcome.
